Post a story that counts
The one-tap post from Parmo, what counts as posted, and what makes a story invalid.
Step 1: Open the night
Under My nights, open the night. It shows the story, the date it is due and the window it must stay online.
Step 2: Check the preview
You see the organizer's image or video exactly as it will go up, plus the mention of the brand account if the brief has one. A story carries no caption, so anything the organizer wants said is part of the picture. On the web the event page shows every story the event asks for as a card under "Your stories", with its day and time and "Post story"; the one up next is lit. Click a story's picture to see it at full size. A story Parmo posts for you carries "Post now" and "Change time" instead.
Step 3: Tap "Post story" and confirm
Parmo publishes the story to your Instagram through Instagram's own publishing API. You do not open Instagram. The confirmation reminds you it needs to stay up for the full window to count.
Step 4: Leave it up
Twenty-four hours by default, or whatever the event says. Parmo checks it stays online and the reward follows on its own.
Before you can post
- Instagram must be connected and not expired. The button says "Connect Instagram first" otherwise.
- The gig must be accepted, and the posting date reached.
What makes the story invalid
- Deleting or archiving it before the window closes.
- Posting the image by hand from your camera roll instead of through Parmo. Only a story Parmo posted, or one you selected from Instagram, can be verified.
- A failed publish: if Instagram never accepted the post, nothing is checked and nothing is owed.
