Community Guidelines

What may be posted, briefed or uploaded on Parmo, how we moderate it, and how to report something.

Version 1.1 · in effect since 28. Sept. 2026

The short version

Parmo is a working marketplace between organizers and creators, for adults. Brief honestly, post what you agreed to post, and treat the person on the other side like a colleague. Everything below follows from that.

Not allowed, anywhere on Parmo

This applies to campaign briefs, event details, uploads, profiles, handles, ratings, written feedback and anything you send through a campaign inbox.

  • Sexual content, nudity, or anything sexualizing a minor. Reports of the last are escalated to the authorities without exception.
  • Hate speech, or attacks on people for race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, doxxing, or sharing someone’s private information.
  • Violence, gore, or promotion of self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
  • Illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or anything else illegal to sell where the event is.
  • Events or promotions aimed at under-18s, and any content that presents alcohol to minors.
  • Fraud: fake events, fake venues, fake brands, impersonation, invented reach, bought followers or engagement, bot traffic, or a campaign designed to collect personal data or money under false pretenses.
  • Content you do not have the rights to, including other people’s photos, music and logos, and photos of identifiable people who did not agree to appear.
  • Malware, phishing links, or attempts to move a booking off-platform to get around Parmo’s verification and ratings.

If you brief campaigns

  • The event must be real, and yours to promote. Name the venue, the date and the door policy accurately.
  • The reward must be what a creator actually receives. A ticket must exist, a guest-list spot must be honoured at the door, and a drink balance or VIP perk must be handed over as described.
  • State the requirements up front: what the story must show, when it goes up, how long it stays up. You cannot add conditions afterwards and withhold a reward on them.
  • Do not ask a creator to hide that a post is a paid promotion, and do not ask them to break Instagram’s rules.
  • Do not use a creator’s story statistics, screenshots or likeness for anything beyond the campaign they agreed to.

If you post campaigns

  • Post from the account you connected, and leave the story up for the agreed window.
  • Follow the brief. If you cannot, say so before the deadline instead of posting something else.
  • Label paid promotions as your local law and Instagram require.
  • Represent your own audience honestly. No bought followers, no engagement pods, no bots.
  • Do not resell, share or transfer a ticket or code you received as a reward unless the campaign says you may.

How we moderate

  • Filtering. Every report is read by a person, and anything that breaks these Guidelines is taken down and the account behind it suspended. We do not screen every event before it is published, so reports are how we find problems quickly.
  • Reporting. In the Parmo app, open an event and tap Report, then pick a reason and add a note. From the web, or for anything else (a profile, a message, a campaign brief), write to report@parmo.io with the link or handle and what is wrong. The organizer is not told who reported them. We review reports within 24 hours, act on them, and tell the reporter what we did.
  • Blocking. In the Parmo app, open one of an organizer’s events and tap Block: all of their events disappear from your feed straight away, with no wait for us. Unblock on any of their event pages undoes it. For anyone else, tell us at report@parmo.io and we stop them reaching you. Accounts that break these Guidelines are suspended or removed, and repeat offenders lose their account.
  • Contact. A person, not a form: support@parmo.io for anything else, answered within one business day.

Serious cases skip the ladder: sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence and fraud in progress are removed immediately and reported to the authorities where the law requires.

If we get it wrong

Every removal or suspension can be appealed by replying to the message that told you about it, or by writing to support@parmo.io. A different person reviews the appeal, within five business days, and we restore what we removed in error.
