Request to join, or accept an invite

The two ways onto an event, what the statuses mean, and choosing who posts your story.

  1. Step 1: Read the event page

"You get" is the reward, with follower bands if the organizer set them. "You post" is the brief: how many stories, on which dates, with which asset. Check both before you commit.

  2. Step 2: Tap "Request to join"

The organizer sees your request on the event page and accepts or declines it. You get a notification either way. If the organizer set a follower minimum, the answer is automatic and immediate.

  3. Step 3: Choose who posts

When the brief has stories Parmo can post for you, "Who posts it?" asks you to pick one of two tickets: "Parmo does" (recommended; the organizer's story goes up from your account at the set time) or "I do" (a reminder on the day, then you post from the app). Under them, "What happens next" lists each story with the day and time it goes up, and shows that "Move post" and "Cancel auto-post" wait in your calendar until the story posts.

  4. Step 4: Find it under My nights

Once accepted, the event is a night in My nights, and its stories are in your calendar ("Month view").

When an organizer invites you

An invite shows in My nights as a night with the "Invite" badge, with Accept and Decline right on its card. Accepting is final and tells the organizer. Invites skip any follower minimum: the organizer chose you by name.
