Notifications
Email, desktop and mobile push: what each carries, and what always arrives.
Three channels
- Email notifications: important updates like verified stories and invites.
- Desktop notifications: push in the browser you switched them on in.
- Mobile push notifications: on the phone, following the signed-in account rather than the device.
Settings → Notifications on the web, Profile → Notifications on the phone. Essential emails, like the one that delivers a reward or a ticket, always arrive.
The inbox
Everything also lands in Notifications: a tab on the phone, and on the web the bell in the block at the foot of the sidebar, beside your account (top of the page on a small screen). A dot on the bell means something is unread; click it and your notifications slide out beside the sidebar, grouped by day, without leaving the page; "View all" opens the full list. Green is routine, yellow needs a decision from you, red means something went wrong. Tap one to open what it is about; "Mark all read" clears the count.
What you are told about
Promoters: a nearby event, a request accepted or declined, an invite, a story scheduled, auto-posted or failed, a reminder on the day a story is due, verification results, a reward granted, denied or redeemed, a dispute answered, a rating request. Organizers: join requests, invite answers, stories submitted, verified or failed, disputes opened, someone joining through your invite link.
