Edit, cancel or complete an event
What you can still change once promoters are on board, and what Publish, Cancel and Mark complete do.
How the events list is sorted
Events has two tabs, Running and Past. Running is sorted by what wants you rather than by date: "Needs you" holds drafts and every event with promoters waiting on a yes or no, "Posting this week" holds the ones whose next story is due inside seven days, and "Later" is everything else. Each row carries the night, the crew counts, the reward and one action, and opens the event. Past keeps your finished events, newest first; how many you can open depends on your plan.
The five statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Only you can see it. Edit freely. |
| Open | Published; promoters can request and you can invite. |
| Active | Stories are being posted and checked. |
| Completed | You marked the night done; verified promoters are asked to rate you. |
| Cancelled | Called off; everyone on the roster is told and open gigs close. |
What locks once someone accepted
From the first accepted promoter on, the posts in the brief, how long each story has to stay online, and the whole reward (type, amount, quantities, follower bands, delivery, tickets per promoter) are frozen: they are the deal that promoter signed up for. Title, description, media, links, venue and the screening rule stay editable. Need a different deal? Duplicate the event.
The Manage actions
- Publish turns a draft into an open event.
- Cancel works from draft, open or active. Rewards not yet granted are not released.
- Mark complete closes an open or active event after the night. Do it once the last story window has passed, so verification can finish first.
- Duplicate makes a new draft with the same content and no dates.
